Reclaiming the Heath & Well Being of Our Community

The Regional YMCA Board of Directors approved a $4 million capital campaign to modernize, refurbish and expand its facilities and programs, allowing the organization to continue to fulfill its mission and vision for generations to come. The renovation and expansion project has several key components:
  • Renovation of the existing Boughton Street branch, including much needed infrastructure improvements.
  • 50-meter, Olympic-Length, year-round-use swimming pool, handicap accessible, surrounded by a 7,000 square foot deck and additional parking.
  • Adjacent to the pool, a 5,000 square-foot, ADA-compliant Aquatics Center, which will include locker rooms, showers and an observation gallery.
  • Expanded core programs and services in childcare, out of school time, day camp, aquatics, the arts, wellness and youth development
