Membership Policies
All Members are required to present his/her membership card to the
Member Services Desk upon entering the facility. There is a lost card
fee of $5.00 for lost of misplaced cards.
No child under the age of 13 will be allowed in the facility without an
adult (18 years or older)
Children ages 6-10 must have an adult present on pool deck at all times
Children age 6 and older must use locker room of same gender
Children under the age 6 are to be accompanied in the water and remain
within arm’s reach of an adult
Child Watch services are available for 6 months to 6 years (see your
membership service desk for hours)
YMCA AWAY PROGRAM
Regional YMCA members may be eligible to use other YMCAs. However, the
YMCA should contacted prior to the visit to verify they accept away
memberships.
Guest Passes
4 Guest Passes per full membership/per year, to be redeemed at the
Membership Services Desk. After all 4 Guest passes are used, the guest(s)
will pay a $5.00 fee. A valid Guest ID must be present.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
All schedules, activities, class fees and staff may be changed or
cancelled by the YMCA without notice. If the YMCA cancels a class that
has a fee, a full refund or credit toward another class will be issued.
Returned Payments
The Regional YMCA of Western Connecticut reserves the right to charge up
to $15 service fee on all returned checks and electronic fund transfers
which are not honored by the bank.
Termination
EZ Pay Monthly Draft is a continuous Membership Payment terminated only
upon receiving written notice of cancellation at least 15 days in
advance of draft date. Member must complete the cancellation form in
person at the branch.
Cell Phone Policy
Video recorders, cameras, or any other visual recording devices are not
allowed within the YMCA without the express written consent of the
Branch Director or CEO. To protect members and guests from unauthorized
photos, the use of cell phones in locker rooms is strictly prohibited.
Anyone caught taking pictures of another person without their permission
and knowledge will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law by the
YMCA and may lead to membership termination.
