Our Adventure Camps focus on Adventure Challenges. We maintain a small camper to staff ratio and focus on the power of teamwork and group support in a safe, non-competitive environment. These activities are challenging and fun and we never pass up an opportunity to reflect on the value of each experience while learning about ourselves and the world around us.

Introduction to Whitewater Kayaking
Experience exciting New England whitewater all week long! Using our equipment we'll learn basic whitewater kayaking techniques including fundamental river safety (including self and assisted rescues), how to read the river and basic paddling strokes and maneuvers (including eddy turns, peel outs and ferrying).  Paddlers will start on flatwater, move to quick water and progress to Class I and II whitewater. 
At night, we'll stay at a State Forest campground in Massachusetts' scenic Berkshires.

AGES: 13 - 16
DATES: July 16-20
TIMES: Drop off at Greenknoll on Monday at 8:30 a.m. and pick up on Friday at 5:00 p.m.
FEES: $750 per week (includes all food, fees, and technical gear)

Intermediate Whitewater Kayaking
This program is designed for those who already have some whitewater paddling experience. We'll progress at a faster pace than the introductory course. Participants will learn more advanced strokes and maneuvers and use them right away as we practice river running and playing in more challenging whitewater. This will also include an introduction to kayak rolling. All equipment provided.
AGES: 14 to 18
DATES: July 23- July 27
TIME: Drop off at Greenknoll on Monday at 8:30 a.m. and pick up on Friday at 5:00 p.m.
FEE: $800 per week includes all food, fees and technical gear

Ultimate Teen Adventure
Technical Rock Climbing, Caving and Appalachian Trail Adventure
Hike along scenic vistas of the Appalachian Trail in Connecticut and Massachusetts.  Traverse numerous mountains, including the highest peek in Connecticut.  Learn the basics of technical rock climbing at sites in Connecticut and or New York State.  Experience the confidence and self-reliance that climbing builds.  After the heights of rock climbing, experience the depths of caving as you climb, crawl, and slide beneath the surface of the earth.

AGES:  12 - 14 years
DATES:  Aug 6 – Aug 10
TIME:  Drop off at Greenknoll on Monday at 9:00 a.m. and pick up on Friday at 5:00 p.m.
FEE:  $550 per week includes all food, fees, and technical gear

Extreme Teen Expedition
Technical Rock Climbing, Caving and Appalachian Trail Adventure

Ultimate Teen Adventure with an edge.  Hike more challenging terrain along the Appalachian Trail.  Climb higher grade rocks while learning and practicing the principals of belaying and rappelling.  Test your limits as you experience the depths of more complex cave systems.
AGES:  15 - 17 years
DATES:  Aug 13 – Aug 17
TIME:  Drop off at Greenknoll on Monday at 9:00 a.m. and pick up on Friday at 5:00 p.m.
FEE:  $550 per week includes all food, fees, and technical gear
