Child Care Programs

Child Care

Children are like sponges – they watch and absorb knowledge, skills and values from everything and everyone around them. At the Y, we believe the values and skills learned early on are vital building blocks for quality of life and future success. That's why our childcare at the Regional YMCA offers a variety of programs that offer a safe, stable and nurturing environment for children 18 months to 12 years old. From pre-school, part-time, full-time, before and after school, or school vacation care we are there to make your child’s day full of fun memorable moments.

Healthy Eating and Physical Activity Policies (HEPA)

Higher Standards of Care

Be assured that at the YMCA, your children will have access to healthy choices. Kids thrive when their physical, cognitive and social-emotional development is nurtured. By creating more healthy choices, the Y’s Healthy Eating Physical Activity (HEPA) Standards lay the foundation for a positive youth development journey.

Ask your YMCA youth instructor how HEPA is implemented in your child’s school readiness or afterschool program. The Regional YMCA is a place where children GROW, THRIVE and LEARN.
