GROUP EXERCISE CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

#Cardio Circuit Cardio Circuit is a low to mid impact total body cardio and strength conditioning class. Three segments of work. Two blocks of low to mid impact cardio and one block of strength to tone and improve endurance. Class ends with core and stretching. The class is onsite. Bring a mat.  

*Forever Strong This program is designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living.  Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a small inflatable ball are offered for resistance.   A chair is used for seated and/or standing support.

*HIIT This is High Intensity Interval Training at its best! Build strength and stamina in this 45 minute class that alternates between anaerobic and aerobic activity.

#Kickboxing High Energy cardio-kickboxing is followed by weights and abdominal work.  Kick, punch and tone your way to a stronger you!

*Les Mills Body Pump® is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body.  This 60 minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls.  Great music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for – and fast!

*Les Mills Body Pump 30® original barbell class that shapes, tones, and strengthens your entire body.  This 30-minute addictive workout challenges all of your major muscle groups by using the best weight room exercises such as squats, presses, lifts and curls.

*Les Mills CORE® this is a revolutionary core training program.

*Pilates Strengthen and lengthen core muscles through controlled movement and breath.  Improve balance, flexibility and body awareness.  Bring a towel.

#SPIN®Cycling training. Class runs outside when weather permits and, in the gym, when the weather is inclement.  

#Step Interval a great workout for the entire body!  Step routines with intervals for toning to target all muscle groups.   

*Strength Training 30 minutes of strengthening and toning.  Dumbbells, stability balls and tubes are used.

Tae Kwon Do/Self Defense Basic/Intermediate level class.  Advanced class meets immediately after the Basics/Intermediate class.  Please check the program guide for dates and pricing.

Workout with Marisa 30 minute class that combines and alternates between cardio with strength in intervals.

*Yoga Learn the fundamentals of yoga including sun salutations, standing poses, balancing, seated & reclining poses, core isolation & strengthening. Special emphasis is placed on safety, alignment, breath, & learning to quiet the mind & find inner peace.  Equipment needed: mat or carpet, pillow, blanket or towel, water .

#ZUMBA®  Zumba® fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away.

Deep and Shallow Water Aerobics 9am to 950am Tues and Thurs– Advanced; Focus is on cardiovascular fitness, overall strengthening, toning and range of motion. Emphasis on core strength, range of motion and toning of the body by performing high intensity exercises in both deep & shallow water, utilizing noodles and barbells.  Must be able to swim

Deep and Shallow Water Aerobics 10am to 1050am Tues and Thurs– Intermediate; An intermediate level class. Emphasis on core strength, range of motion and toning of the body by performing high intensity exercises in both deep & shallow water. Must be able to swim

Toning and Flexibility – Monday and Wednesday 10am to 1050am – Therapy Pool; Low intensity shallow water exercise with use of noodles and barbells. Focus is on core strength, range of motion and an overall toning of the body.

Cardio and Strength- Monday and Wednesday 11am to 1150am- Intermediate- Shallow only; An intermediate level class. Emphasis on core strength, range of motion and toning of the body by performing high intensity exercises in both deep & shallow water.

Work the Water Tuesday and Thursday 11am to 1150am- Beginner – Therapy Pool; Low intensity shallow water exercise with use of noodles and barbells. Focus is on core strength, range of motion and an overall toning of the body.

Power Workout – 6pm to 650pm Monday and Wednesday – Advanced; One hour of intense deep & shallow water exercise, helping make you more flexible and fit. Emphasis on core strength, range of motion and toning of the body by performing high intensity exercises in both deep & shallow water. Must be able to swim

Water Yoga- Tuesdays 6pm -650pm Therapy Pool: Aqua yoga is a restorative form of yoga that adapts the postures and principles of yoga, including breathing and mindfulness, to the warm water therapy pool. Aqua yoga helps you improve your physical strength, flexibility, posture, and body awareness, and reduce stress. Led by Aimee, AEA certified Aquatic Fitness Professional with recent training in water yoga through White Crow Yoga

Non-Impact Water Aerobics- Wednesday 10a to 11am – Beginner -Main Pool;  Class designed for the fitness needs of beginners, those recovering from surgery or stroke, those with MS &/or anyone seeking low-impact class. Held in shallow-end of lap pool using exercise equipment for all-over body toning, improved balance & flexibility, and stimulation of circulation.
