The Regional YMCA of Western CT has served Brookfield, Danbury, Bethel, Newtown and surrounding communities for many decades. We’re a nonprofit committed to youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Our programs include fitness classes, swim lessons, summer camps, and family activities for every age and stage of life. Whatever brings you to the Y, our team is here to help you find the right fit.

Our Greenknoll Branch in Brookfield is home to two indoor pools and a full cardio and strength training complex. You’ll also find group exercise studios and courts for basketball and pickleball. Everything is designed to support a healthy lifestyle at every age. Our aquatics program is one of the most comprehensive in the region. It includes swim lessons for all ages, a competitive swim team, water exercise classes, and lifeguard and CPR certification training.

For families, we offer year-round child care and preschool, plus before- and after-school programs. Kids can also join us for Camp Greenknoll or our Summer Club at Grassy Plain. It’s a safe, active place to learn, play, and grow every summer. Teens and young adults can take part in leadership development programs. These build confidence and real-world skills.

Beyond fitness, the Regional YMCA of Western CT offers health initiatives that make a lasting difference. These include our Diabetes Prevention Program, Enhance Fitness for active older adults, and Walk With Ease. We believe a membership should never be out of reach. Financial assistance is available to those who qualify.
